Hi all,
when i flight with my wattage cap 232 and i try to do a loop ....it turn right suddenly and i lost control.
Servo and receiver are ok
CG is OK
Elevator and ailerons are ok
Do you think is i have to perform a lateral balancing?
Thanks in advance,
MrGastone

Sounds like too much elevator throw, (up elevator) and the plane is snapping out of the loop on you.............

Yup, check that you do not have excessive elevator throw, and even if it is within kit "specifications", you may still want to to reduce it a little. Also, check and make sure that your center of gravity is not too far back on the plane. An even slightly tail heavy Cap can be REAL snap happy!

after having been through 3 Caps and falling in love I can attest to the guys above by saying it is toooo much elevator throw and you are snapping it. urn the throw down and re-check the CG. Also if you have a apable radio dial in some expo.
good luck

mrgastone, i just got the cap and i havnt experienced the problem you're having. but there's something else i wanted to ask you about. it seems like the roll rate is quite a bit slower than i expected, even with my ailerons set to almost max throw (about 1/2" up and 1/2" down). it's very responsive when the plane is horizontal, but as the wings are approaching verticle when doing a roll, the roll rate just slows down dramatically and the nose just wants to drop. by the time i've completed a full roll, i've already lost about 15 feet of altitude. it rolls like my glider instead of an aerobatic plane.
anyone have any suggestions?
thanx,
brian
