Hi all,
I'm in the process of putting together the Patty and I'm at the point of mounting the engine and I have a question. After a lot of measuring, I've observed that the vertical line that is stamped on the engine box firewall is 3/16" to the left of my measured center line. What up? Do I ignore the stamped line and establish my own center line? or go with the stamped line?
BTW, I'm mounting a DA50
Any thoughts?

I believe it is offset to allow for right thrust that is already built into the firewall. So the spinner will line up in the middleof the fuse. But I could be wrong.

I used the stamped line. I started building last sunday and maidened it yesterday, 31 hour build. DA50 is a really fun engine on this plane. Have fun! Keep it simple.

It's to compensate for the right thrust which is built into the firewall. The prop will be 7" forward and be in the centerline. Really, you should know this already if you are building this plane.
