This is one big old airplane! I bought it from a guy on RCU still in the box last week and spent the weeknites building it. I put an OS91 4 stroke in it and took it out today to fly it. After spending about 15 mins putting it together, it was ready. 15 mins is not bad for such a pretty airplane, besides there is always that old man that comes over and finds all the imperfections and feels compelled to point them out to you. So, putting it together gives you something to do while old man river tells you how he would have done it.
Anyway, the first take-off, lifts off at less than 1/2 throttle on grass. I applied full power and climbed up to trim it out and boy will it climb! All that lift is very evident when applying power. Trimmed it out and did some really slow flight up high and then some touch n goes. It will land at a crawl! Pretty cool airplane. Handles very nice on the grass, not one nose over. I figured I would at least try a loop or a slugggish roll and I was surprized. It is obvious that any airplane will loop, but this one is so realistic! It rolls but man are they ugly! Old man river didnt like the rolls, so I did some more. Anyway, if this sort of thing is your cup of tea, I would recommend this one. Builds very easy and straight, no surprizes. Really scale take-offs and landings. Maybe this week now I will add some scale touches like the flying wires, etc.

Thanks for the report.

I just bought one a couple of weeks ago. Looking forward to putting it together and flying it.

Nice moth , I will be flying mine this weekend with the Super Tigre 75 in it. How was your control throws ? I have heard that they are a little weak when set to manufacturer specs per manual. Thanks

Thanks- the elevator throws are ok as recommended but the ailerons will need alot more throw. You will absolutely enjoy this one.
