My Feedback: (3)
I just picked up the last of the items I needed to put together a Cloud Dancer 60 ARF I bought recently. I searched through the forums for info regarding this plane and there wasn't a lot to go by. I am going to install retracts in this one and am going to overpower it probably way too much with a new YS110. It's been almost 2 years since I've flown anything and finally got the bug to fly again. If any of you have experience with this Cloud Dancer, I'd like to get your feedback on setups or with issues assembling the plane before I start. On initial look, the plane seems to be very well done and if it builds as easily as the Ace Seamaster I assembled, I'll be a happy camper.
Thanks in advance,
Dan

Good luck. I did a search for info on this bird and was shocked that there was little of nothing on it compared to many of the other birds around. It's a nice looking bird and was thinking about buying one myself but I couldn't find enough in the way of opinons on it so I went with a VF 66" Edge instead.
Maybe next bird,

Well, then, I guess I'll be one of the guinea pigs as I assemble it. I was surprised I couldn't find much either. It's a good size plane at 72" span and the design looks very clean. I almost bought one of the Cloud Dancers in kit form, but how can you beat the speed of an ARF?
Thanks,

I bought a Cloud Dancer 40 size kit a year or so ago but since I'm not much of a kit builder, it's still sitting in the box. I just can't bring myself to ruin this bird. Personally, I like the looks of it. As with you, I think it is a very clean and sleek looking model and I would like to know why more people aren't flying it. The price for the bird seems pretty reasonable. Too bad their isn't more information available for it. I am considering selling a brand new dragon lady and going for the Cloud Dancer 60. Keep me posted on how things go with it. I would really be interested in what you think about it.
Good luck with it,

I built a .40 size from RCM plans several years ago. It was a sweet flyer, very smooth & stable. I don't know what sort of flying are looking at , but a .91 4C or smaller, might be a better choice. The original design is very light. Hope this helps.
