Default Ultra Stick and JR 8103 programming question

I am all set up and working well. One issue with crow. The right flap servo is over driving a bit. For the life of me I can't isolate and adjust just that one servo. Everything I try (servo travel, trims etc) results in other stuff moving. Anyone know how I can adjust that one servo?

Default 8103 and ultra stick

Here is what Hanger 9 forgot to include in the manual. hope this helps. Let me know. Lee
Rob, had the same problem. Here is what I got when I called Horizon. The manual is incorrect.

Addendum to 8103 Program for Ultra Stick:

1. Go to function list
2. Highlight D/Flap T. and hit enter
3. Activate Pot 6
4. Return to function list
5. Put your 3 position flap switch in the bottom position
6. Select Program mix 5 or 6 (whichever is empty)
7. Set flap pot at full negative value
8. Select Offset and press "clear/store" (value should be –222)
9. Go back to function list
10. Select D/Flap T.
11. Set pot 6 to "inh"
12. Return the flap switch to the top position
13. Go to your flap mix and set the rate until your ailerons are level
14. Have fun flying your Ultra Stick!

Default Ultra stick and 8103

Greetings guys, happened to notice this thread and was wondering if it was related to my problem. Just finished my Ultra Stick and was working through the instructions trying to program my bird. Everything went fine until I got to the aileron and flap mixing. Went through the process several times and for the life of me I can not get past this step. When I follow the directions, right aileron produces up aileron on right, down flap on left. Reverse is true for the left. Anyone have any suggestions? This is my first attempt at any serious mixing and is causing me fits. Didn't even want to try the crow function until I get this resolved. Thanks for any advice.

Lee, noticed your revised instructions for the 8103. Where in the set up process should these changes be made. Does it really matter where? Thanks again.

Default frustrated !

should have left mine alone...it was working other than over driving one flap servo...ended up resetting the radio and starting from scratch.......now its all screwed up. Oh well, I got it once...I'll get it again. The above steps are confusing as it says select mix 5 but not what to do with it. When you enter into mix you have to say which channels you are mixing....the steps say nothing about that.

I will say that the crow was wicked ! you can dive from way up and pull of short landings .... very cool.

It appears that this is where everyone gets bogged down and cannot make the thing work. I labored with this for 2 - 3 weeks. This solved the problem. Give it a try. Another person needs the credit for finding out this information.
thanks.

Default The answer

I think I have the solution....It is a word document that a gent named Richard sent me a few months ago....I had misplaced it but found it again. I had sent him email but did not get a response...anyway found it on my hard drive, went through it again and I am good to go....everything is great !

email me if you want it...I'm sure he wouldn't mind.
