Hey Guys:
I've started flying my second plane (Sig Something Extra) and I'm tired of my trainer (PT-40). I want to gut it and install my OS 40LA and my radio in a new plane. I'm looking for something scale, preferably military, that will take my wussy engine. Just a good knock around plane. So far I'm looking at the Kyosho Cub. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Dan[sm=drowning.gif]

Welcome to RCU!
The WM T-34 is pretty light it would fly ok on your 40LA- There are a ton of warbirds in the 40 size range but they would fly like a pair of pliers on a Bushed 40- I would try to find a used 46...
What is in the SE?
If your on a fiscally responsible budget the TT Pro-46 is about $80- And the Magnum-52XLS is on sale for same--

Thanks for the info, Razor.
Buying a new engine isn't really an option. I'm saving up SPU's (spousal permission units) for the Hanger 9 Corsair and I just dumped a load on my new radio for the Sig S.E.. I put an OS 46fx in the sig.
I was hoping to make use of the 40LA, otherwise it will just sit and rot in my trainer. I'd be interested in a T-34. What does "WM" stand for? I looked at the Hanger 9 T-34 but my engine would be at the bottom of the power range.
Thanks again,
Dan

Hi- CHECK OUT Seagull Models. They have some fantastic deals on some good throw around airplanes. Spacewalker, Zero,Extra 300. The spacewalker would be the best fit for your 40 and it only cost $119. Good luck

Razor is a WMT34 fan for sure. All warbirds are a little overweight. I doubt that your 40 2C will be able to properly power anyone of them. Get the T34 ... cheap and nice to fly. If you can do change the pilots!!! I hate the China/Vietnamese made pilots. They are all way too small.

After much consideration and discussion at my LHS, I've decided to go with the Kyosho Cub. It will take all the way down to a .32. Thanks for all the help.
