Default Reccomendations (not another one!)

Thinking about a warbird looking ARF. Don't need exact scale, semi-scale would be nice. I want to say .40 sized, and here's the kicker. I DON"T want to do a Mustang, or a Corsair. Both of them are beautifull aircraft, but there are just so many of them around it's not funny. You can't sling a dead cat by the tail at our field on Sat and not hit a Mustang. Someone makes a decent looking semi-scale FW 190, but I can't remember the company (would be nice to have something to contest all those Mustangs!).

Go to the Tower Hobbies site and look at the Kyosho ARFs. They have a couple Axis warbirds available.

Try these guys: http://www.vqmodelaircraft.com
Not the absolute best quality in ARFs, but good value for the money, and they have some different birds like a P-39, Mig-3, & a Macchi 205.
I had a Mig, and my flying partner had the Macchi. Both were excellant flyers.

VQ will have another P40 arriving this week , no gear , it will have corrections made that were poor on the first model , should be a great plane , flaps , and everthiing .
I have follwed the planes thru the process and I am waiting to see the new one , shoudl be on line by the end of the week , the current site shows a P40 with retracts that is still the old version at $299 the new shoudl be around $199.no gear
