I've had mine about a year with a handful of flights on it. Nice plane housing an OS 1.08. The only thing wrong is the covering which is no less than poor. So providing it survives the summer, I plan on a strip down and recover this fall. Now a while back I saw a plastic model of a P-47 on some page somewhere.
It was painted in this light tan or desert light brown camel thing if you know what I mean. Question is does anybody know if this was a real color scheme on this plane during the war somewhere. If so, got any picutres. I kind of like it and may go with it.
