Default 25% ARF Help

Looking for a 25% or slightly smaller ARF that I can use to replace my recently deceased Aeroworks Edge 540 [&o]. I would like to have plug in wings and a price under $300 for the ARF airframe. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!!

Why don't you get another Edge?
I've got a 25% Giles 202, and I love it. It will 3D just as well as any of the other planes out there in the right hands, but just watch out for the landing.
If you come in to slow it WILL drop a wing and you will snap it into the ground.
Ask me I know. I was practising harriers when she snapped on me. Luckily I was a couple of mistakes high and managed to recover.
I only have one negative comment about the Giles. The wing is a one piece unit. Other than that, I have no other bad things to say about it.

What happened to your Edge by the way?

I would love to get another Edge, but I don't have the time to build it, otherwise I would.

The Edge was an excellent flying aircraft as long as the engine was running. I was about 50' off the ground and the engine died out. Tried an aggressive manuever to make a down wind landing, but it got too close to spectators so I chose to put into a tree. Replacing the airframe was going to be cheaper than paying for medical bills. So basically it comes down to dead stick and dumb pilot. Oh well...live and learn.
