Was at the Hobby shop today and seen the new Stinger 60 ARF
looks like a good ARF and will be a lot lighter than the kit. All wood and fiberglass (NO PLASTIC) and looks like a good covering job and hardware.

I would be interested in hearing what people think of this ARF? I have always felt that the Stinger flies a bit like the ultra stick, but a little better and have always wanted one.
I have a .91FX that would find a home in that plane.

One of my favorite flying airplanes that I have owned Was a Stinger 60 with a OS FX 90. And this was not an arf it was the older kit. I will be very interested in hearing how the ARF flys. I did not even know that Lanier was coming out with an ARF. I am building a second Stinger 60 with same engine. This one will have Quad flaps.

Thanks for the information about the Stinger 60 arf. Went to their web site. Plane looks good. I am tired of building planes But I really like the way the Stinger Flies. For too many years I flew airplanes to land them was considered a controlled crash however they flew great. Now I want planes that land slow but fly very good. The Stinger fits my preference very good.
I am presently building 1-Stinger 40, 1- Stinger 60, 2- Stinger 120, and 1- Stinger Giant scale. I have really gotten tired of baggiing foam wings. I sheet the wings completely and install the sheeting with Pro Bond glue. this way I never have to worry about the wings failing.

I have had stingers from the 10 size to the 120 and they all flew great. Still have a Stinger 60 with YS 91 One of the best all around flying planes you can get.
