Default Question on WM P-51Mustang....need a dimension/measurement..

I'm in need of the firewall-to-thrustwasher dimension on this particular plane for engine placement on one that I'm restoring. It's the .40 size(yeah right..that's what they say huh )...

It was one of those freebie planes, that is now coming to life again in a very different form. Although having built several of the WMMustang's I just don't recall that measurement, but do know that it is specific in the manual's that come with those planes. I hope someone recalls that dimension....thanks. Dale ...

It is 118 mm (4.65") per my 1999 instruction manual.

Brian, thank you very much. Just what I needed to continue.

Well in case you need this to , the CG is 5.04 inches back or 128mm per the manual

Mine flys great with a Saito 100.

Thanks CH.... I've got an OS61FX w/tuned pipe that should get it where I want it to go very decently. It's actually an older airframe that has only one aileron servo in the center of the wing...and I'm just going to leave it that way... to save weight, and battery power. Those 2 factors were enough for me weigh the difference vs. 2ail servos...which essentially would do me no good. I won't have any need for the flaps or spoilers on this one, I'm confident it will fly very well, and hoping it's on the higher end of the speed spectrum.

It's still a free plane though, no matter how this one is sliced.. Thanks a bunch for the info though guys.
