Default Cap 232X

I just bought a Chip Hyde Cap X from Planes Plus. If the plane is half as good as their customer service it's going to be great. Carla is great to do business with and is very helpful. These are nice folks!!

You will not be disappointed in your choice for the cap-x.I would suggest a moki 180 for power.
This is what i have in my cap -x and it has unlimited vertical.I run a perry vp-20 perry pump
a 24oz. tank over the c.g. It did take a little bit of playing around with the engine to get it to run right, but I had to add no extra weight.THis plane is awesome I flew the hell out of mine yesterday and will get to fly it again today, and i just can not get over this plane.
My brother has flown caps for a long time and he warned me about tip stalls so when I got this plane I was very intimidated. This thing is amost a trainer it will due fly by and land almost hands off, locks right into a harrier, will hover for ever the moki will pull it right out of a hover no problem. If you need any help let me know or ask rwlewis on the cap x thread he his were i got my set up from.

I will be using the OS 1.60 just because I have one. I think this should provide plenty of power. Chip Himself said it would be a good choice.

Skip I am sure it is a good combo, however everyone with that set up is having to add a bunch of weight to balance it with the o.s. 1.60.check the cap x thread and there is a picture of a cap x with a big block of weight on the front of it a hugh block. With the Moki 1.80 you just need to move the reciever around. There are some good pictures of peoples set up on that thread check it out.
