Great posts!
I'm just getting started on my CG Decathlon. I'm putting an inverted YS .91 in it. Glad to hear this has turned out to be a good ARF. I was hearing horror stories about how RC versions of the Decathlon were really hard to handle on the ground.
I've got a couple of Hitec 605's for the tail and I'm planing on using standard futaba 3004's on the wing. All on a 6 volt batt. Any comments about that setup?
I'm also using 1/4 scale hinges on the control surfaces (already started that part, no going back!). I've already been told to use toothpicks as dowels to keep them from coming loose. I'm planning on sealing the gaps as well.
Keep the building tips coming, I need all the help I can get. This is only my 3rd. All ARF's. I might be interested in the carbon-fiber stuff as well.
