I don't feel so bad.
I've got a GP Shoestring on order.
H9 At6, Corsair arfs hidden in the closet
A World Model Zero arf under the work bench
Tf FW 190D, P47, and GP P51 kits on the shelf, with a half completed GP 300S kit on the floor
.....and my wife I thought I should go to RC anonymous!

RE: How many ARF's (NIB) do you have waiting to be built?
Just a few. Problem is I have a very limited amount of building time plus I'm a slow builder.
ARFs
H9 Ultra Stick 40---just about finished.
H9 P-51 60---just started
H9 Aresti
Hobby Lobby Air Blaster
Kavan Projeti ( my second )
Just one kit, a Dynaflite Bird of Time. This one may have to wait 'till I retire !

I've only got one NIB kit a Top Flite Bonanza, I bought it when I heard they had stopped making them...
I've got only one ARF that is just about ready to fly...
Everything else has flown but in some state of repair.... but hey the Easy Fly 40 is ready!!

Let's see...
VectorFlight Edge 66"
DP Ultimate 120
Alfa Corsair (electric)
SoarStar (electric, Wingo clone)
And I'm about 2/3 done with a GP Lancair.
This thread is dangerous. It's proof that there's always someone else out there sicker than you, making it easy to say to yourself "See? I'm not that bad! Now where is my credit card?"
I've been chomping at the bit for a Funtana 90. This thread may put me over the edge.

One- a SIG Rascal 40 that I ordered to replace a crashed Rascal 40 that I didn't think was repairable at the time. I've thought about putting a set of floats on this one, but I'd really rather sell it and a kit that I have so I can order another kit, or keep them both and order the other kit anyway

RE: How many ARF's (NIB) do you have waiting to be built?
These are waiting quietly in their plastic bags...
1) Kangke Laser 200 (I'm waiting for one experimental four stroke overcharged 50 cc engine)
2) H9 Edge 540 1.20 (saito 1.80)
3) Kyosho Pitts S2 (OS. 46 FX)
4) HVP Model DH-C2 Beaver with floats (RCV 58CD)
5) AW PT-17 (With magnum 400-R5: I'm waiting for the kit)
In the winter I think to finish the little Pitts ad the PT-17 Stearman
... and these are flying
1) GP Pitts (ZDZ 40)
1) Kyosho Piper (RCV 58 CD)
3) H9 Cessna 182 with floats (OS 46 FX)
4) Kangke Monocoupe (Saito 182 twin)

RE: How many ARF's (NIB) do you have waiting to be built?
Kits
Midwest AT-6, 100" with all of the Robart retract gear
Topflite Corsair, the large gas version with Robart gear
Aeroworks 29% Edge 540
Arfs
Hangar 9 Cap 27%
Wildhare 28% 300
Hangar 9 33% Edge 540
While I agree there is some degree of insanity here, there is a way to justify all of this and remove any guilt (as if we feel any guilt).
Walk over to your wifes closet and swing open the door. Lets see now the purses equal the Cap, Corsair and small Edge. The shoe shelves are good for the 300, AT 6 and large Edge. The stand up jewerly case covers anything I have not mentioned as well as what I will pick up for six months into next year.
For what its worth I have it made. In 17 years my wife has never, not once, said one word about my hobby. Guess she is glad I dont own a $3,000.00 set of Ping golf culbs or pay on a deer lease and buy a new gun and scope every year.
Point being our hobby is not really any more expensive than fishing, hunting or other sports.
Wow, now after looking at the big picture where is Desert Aircrafts phone number, I need a motor for that 33% Edge.

Ha! My second post.
I tried to use this thread to prove to the wife that I wasn't all that bad. I just have a GP Shoestring left to build. As for kits a Somethin' Extra to finish and a Hog Bipe, Smith Mini, Dynaflight Flybaby left to build. She just muttered something about boys and their toys.
I was trying to explain how I really needed to buy a NE Aerodynamics Twin Air with the twin tail! http://www.ne-aero.com/index.html

RE: How many ARF's (NIB) do you have waiting to be built?
I thought I was bad... now I know I'm almost normal.
I have a Ultimate, a Crazy Max, an Omega 636, and Rambler 45 ARF to build. I also have about 4 kits waiting for me to get to them as well.
My problem... no room in the garage to build. I may have to get a bigger house.

RE: How many ARF's (NIB) do you have waiting to be built?
2 Arfs flying, one ready for its maiden.
1 kit that's almost ready to start covering.
12 more kits on the shelf.
A similar number of engines waiting for the kits to be built.
No ARFs waiting to be assembled []
But hopefully that will change next week, if my wife took my wish list seriously

RE: How many ARF's (NIB) do you have waiting to be built?
piper-chuck, i actually got all the kits from Hong Kong except for the Hurricane. i traded in a 61" CMP Christen Eagle for it. The Kyosho I got from a hole in the wall LHS in Hong Kong. Rambler from Radarrc directly. Yak54 from a guy that I fly with.
BUT, I do know where to get all of these kits in Taiwan as well. If you are ever here, let me know and I can take you there. You can pick up a kit for cheap! O.S. engines are pretty cheap here. Naturally TT engines are cheap, too.

Forestroke, thanks for the offer, I'll keep it in mind. I'd probably shop for engines and maybe an ARF or two, have enough kits right now. I bought a bunch of my kits are from SHS in Singapore.
