Have a giantscale sukhoi fiberglass arf. Need a balance point
before the maiden vovage . Any suggestions ?

Marty - Try about 1/3 of the way back from the leading edge

Set it at 25% back from the leading edge for initial flights. Measure the chord including the aileron at the fuselage. Then calculate what 25% of that is, and balance it there. Perfectly safe and easy to do.
