I'm still waiting for my Gee Bee to arrive. I went with an OS Max 1.20 and robart struts. I hope it flies good with that setup.

here is a chart with all info:

Looks like it should have 2+ in the wing and 2- in stab.

Just got my GP R2 on Friday. I too went with the Robostruts and the O.S. 120. I've been following the other threads so I'm already clued into what to expect. So far no surprises (thanks to all of the input here!). I just got the Struts on the wings tonight, but I need to go get different wheels tomorrow cause the foam ones with the kit don't fit the robart struts.

I used the kit provided wing joiner but just made sure to get it joined soundly. Used 30 Min epoxy instead of the recommended 5 minute and clamped it good. After I let it cure, it's pretty strong. When I joined the wings I used 45 Minute epoxy and made sure the joiner was thoroughly coated.

Looks like the belly pan will require some fitting, just as most have noted, but still can't help but be impressed with the overall quality of the kit.

Steve
