Today I was at the Festival of Giants in St Charles, IL and I got see the prototype of the new 110" Rascal. It looks great. It had a experimental1.3 CI gas engine in it and it flew great. I got to talk with the Sig rep flying it and he said it will be available in Oct. Only 500 will be initially released so I put my order in for one. He thinks it will sell for $349.00 and ir will be an ARF. They have been flying it with a 120 4c with good results. I plan on installing a 180 in mine.

I just hope they really release it. I want one I think but if it's like their Kadet Sr. it will be years if ever.
I too would like to know how it did in the air. I'm assuming that it's a two piece wing???
Thanks

Pud & Mike,
The pilot didn't really open it up because of the new engine being used but he did say with the right engine in it is as aerobatic as the 40 size, I can hover mine. He stated it will be released in Oct so if I wanted one to get my order in at my LHS which I did. It is a 2 piece wing, 110" would be a bit difficult to transport as one. It really looked great. The rudder is pull pull and the elevator servo is in the tail. He had standard servos installed for all the controls. Hope this helps.
