Looking to buy this kit. Does anybody have comments on it? I will be putting a Saito 65 in the nose. Please let me know what your idea's and or suggestions are on this kit.
Thanks Rich

Default bipe

It is a good flying bipe. The engine you are putting in it will not pull it verticle, but will fly it nice. Mine used to do the nicest inverted flat spins. Landed nice too...hope this helps...

noahb,

Thanks. What do you recommend for engine size? Is it a nice looking kit and is its construction solid?

Planeman58,

I flew my ultimate with an o.s. 61fx, PLENTY of power. Hovered no problem at less than half throttle. The plane does great spins and tumbles. Glides like a brick tied to a bowling ball though so whatever you put in it make sure it's reliable.
I agree that the saito .56 will fly the plane but not with much authority. If you have to go 4-stroke I would think a .90 would be perfect. All in all a real nice ARF, i'm sure you'll enjoy it.
