I have just orderd the SUPER CHIPMUNK arf by W.M. will be using 91FX for motor side mounted for pitts muffler slimeline with dubro vibe motor mount..( no problems with this in my midwest little cap)...futaba 9c pcm radio gear .what servos should I use 9001 or 9202????? should I replace the 256 wood rods with DB fiberglass rods in 440 ???what about dual elevator servos???? what type of covering is used and what colors match perfict???? orderd retract model as fixed gear version no longer available in canada....I fly off grass strip on my farm and given up on retracts(to much time fixing rather then flying).....has anyone removed the retracts and replaced it with fixed gear???? any problems that should be fixed while making this model?????

I have one with retracts. It flies very nice and it is very aerobatic.
It has very good vertical with a Saito 91 turning a 14X6 prop. The Retracts with the small wheels do not work well on grass. This airplane needs to be landed very gently to keep the retracts from bending. The Hardware is good and strong with the exception of the clevis's. Replace them all with the dubro 2mm.
