Built the Tiger II 40 kit and it flew great until I screwed it into the ground. Major pilot error, it happens. Thought it could do something that I couldn't. Probably build a 60 size one of these days.

I bought a Tiger 2 ARF. The throttle hole was on the wrong side. Just redrilled it and filled in the other hole with epoxy. I went to tail dragger right away so didn't use the supplied landing gear. Also went with my own Sullivan wheel assembly for the tail wheel. I tried a light weight landing gear with the holes in it for lightening. Not a good idea. It would bend with any kind of landing. I replaced it with the white fiberglass gear but haven't tried it since. I also replaced the 40FX with an ASP Super series 52. Should make it sing through the air!
