Default GP Spacewalker question

Hi guys,
I'm in the process of putting together a GP Spacewalker. I would like to know if it would be possible to use flaperons on this plane, & if so, how effective will they be? I plan on using a Futaba 6EXA system.
thank you all for your opinions.

That wouldn't be a good idea on that plane because of the Barn Door style ailerons. It would be a better idea to just add flaps instead.

I've got an os 91 four stroke on mine. The plane lands very slow. Don't see a need for flaperons or flaps.

I agree with the rest of the guys, you don't need flaps. I have an OS91 on mine and landing is a breeze if you use a 14/6 plastic or 15/6 wood props. I noticed the flying chacteristics especially landing will change a lot when you use a prop with a bigger pitch.
Its a beautiful plane,have fun.

I agree with the rest. No need for flaperons on this plane, she's a floater.

I also agree with the rest. Flaps or flaperons are not needed. This is one of the nicest flying planes you will ever see. It is a real floater and that is something that it does best. When you bring it around on approach and cut the throttle you wonder if it will ever touch the ground. I swear you could go out on the runway and walk beside while it is deciding to touch down. It just never wants to quit flying.

I must also say flaps are not needed. Mine is also a floater as stated earlier by others. I power mine with a Saito .91. It can be difficult to get on the ground as it just wants to fly with that big wing. A real fun plane to fly and easy to see due to its size and color.

Thanks everyone for your opinions, It's unanimous, so I won't be using flaps on this airplane. It sounds like this is going to be a real fun plane!
