my great planes suepr sportster is finished but the spinner seems to be the slightest bit sloping downward... is this normal? engine mounting is correct

Standing behind the plane it should be slightly pointed to the "right" and "down". Have fun!

Yep, It's normal.......don't try to change the thrust angle.

Like any arf, put a gage on it. I have one of these and yes, the angle is off. Get some ernst motor mount shims and bring within 1% down ttrust of wing. 0/0 is best, but for this bird, not real critical. We race them in our club and find them to be great all around flyers. Yes, they stay togeather, I have a sports jett 50 in mine.
