Anyone that has this plane care to comment on it? I know it'sa basic plane but the looks kind of grow on you. But what do you do with yours when you fly? An aerobat it's not but I'm sick of Caps, Extras, Suhkois, Edges, etc.
I'm thinking also of using an OS91 4-stroke.
So lemme hear ya!

I have the former all wood kit and love it. Have a Saito 56 for power and fly at half power.
Will do most aerobatics, though more fun to fly low to the ground and smoke the bugs. (Run on the rich side) Been tinkering with a smoke system though and with all the room inside it would fit.
Have flown the ARF version and it is just the same.

I guy at our field had one a couple of years ago. He had a OS 70 4 stroke for power. PLane flew well. He would dust the runway for us. He crashed as he tried to do a "dust" tall grass off of the runway about 1/2 throttle. Let just say, in real life the pilot would be pushing up daisy's.

I have flown the Kyosho Ag and do NOT fly inverted. The wing supports are designed for positive G maneuvers. A negative G maneuver can and will pull the strut out of its supports.

I got the kyosho agwagon arf in jan. of this year it is a very well made arf...went together easilywith no surprises....plane is covered in heat shrink and easily matched with monokote or ultracote and all wood so can be repaird...the only bad thing about this arf is the cowl is not fiberglass I have about 20 flights on mine no crackes yet lucky I guess..( stans fiberglass makes replacement???)...replaced all metric hardware with std...dubro hinges not ca..db fiberglass rods with gold 256 clevis...dubro adj.control horns great way to adjust. elevators....hangar9-60 size landing gear for more prop clear.wider wheel thread. + larger 3" wheels....futaba flight gear with 3004 servos no problems....os50sx motor slimline pitts muffler 11x8 ms prop......plane ready to fly 6 lbs 8 %........almost unlimited vertical with motor....this plane flys very fast but not as aerobatic as a cap or exstra...it is a real floater sometimes have to use flaperons or kill motor to make it land or it will eat the whole runway....its a real crowed pleaser and looks great...I will buy another one if this one flys to a sad end
I have 3 other kyosho arfs spitfire me109 zero and they all look good and fly great.......so GO FOR IT cant go wrong.........

Have one with over 200 flights on it with a Magnum 52 four stroke, I put larger wheels Dubro a Pilot and instrument panel, from H9 painted the back part of the canopy traslucent blue, put some scale decals , fuel, no push, lift, ect also black fine sand paper on the side of the canopy, put a strobe light and smoking system.
Flys very easy and great ,just make sure you put a small 4 stroke just a 52 is more that enough , a big motor will ruin its flight characteristics.
When its windy it flies horrible, one of the worse planes.

I have been flying the ag-wagon for about a year and have been having a ball. The kit was easy to put together and it hastaken a few 'bugs' out in it's flights. I scratch built a fertilize spreader and attached it to the bottom of the wing in a scale location. Being from the Miss. Delta where the ag-plane cut it's teeth, I have seen the plane in action more that a few times. Mine is powered with a Magnum Pro 46 w/10x7 prop. The interior has been upgraded with a pilot, roll-over structure, instrament pannels and all other parts are painted flat black. On the tail, I found an old Jolly Rodgers Skull and Cross-bones from a P-47 kit for the insects and put the 6 Square foot purple on the rudder for 2,4, 5-T herbicide application on rice crops. Last but not least, I constructed a water/solution filler on the left side of the aircraft as on the full sized bird. Plane has enough power to fly scale passes at 5' off the ground but has to be juiced up a little to climb out after the pass. This plane has not been used as an aerobat but strickly as an ag-plane..Contact me at: airplane@tecinfo for more comments...Travis, partner in aviation.....

After losing my canopy in flight
I found out how much faster the plane flies. After riping out the gear at the end of the day, I went home and prepares the backup agwagon for sunday--only modified the canopy, I put a ST .51 on it with a 12.25 by 3.75 apc. So far it gets alot of attention and flies very fast, I love it, But people keep asking me why a racing agwagon, and I say, To be diffrent.
--tell me what you think.

Just puttin' the finishing touches on mine. Gonna use a TT.54 4 stroke. I epoxied in some carbon fibre strips on the flimsy wing tip pieces and took special care when epoxying them on the wings to make sure they'll be durable. Because it is so roomy inside I installed a pull-pull rudder and dual elevator servos.
Got 3-1/2 inch wheels to put on it too (flyin' off the grass). I also ran a nyrod tube down the bottom of the fuz and ran the antenna right out the back of the tail cone. All in all it's a beautiful plane, in it's own ugly way, and a very high quality kit that built with no problems. Lookin' forward to flyin' it now.
