I saw this for the first time today still in the box. One of our local speed demons purchased. I've read all about it here and no doubt a fast plane and probably built well. Thing is it's tiny and a hand launch to boot. $300 just for the plane. Probably near $900 to fly. Cannot see landing $900 on its belly.

$300 includes the plane, engine & Tuned pipe. I don't think you will find a better deal anywhere. Besides for another $15 you can add landing gear. Your $900 figure must include a flight box, field equipment, fuel, radio, lunch, dinner & bus fare to the field for a year.

Well if it comes with an engine, this is good eh? Does this belly land or can you/should you do gear? I happened to see $300 on the box quickly flicked a booger at it all. My Shrike is a pain to keep an eye on. This should be nuts with its size and speed.

This West Engine is not good at all i dont like it at all....... I have the magnum and it aint as fast as its suppose to be......... the body is heavy.......stuff like that.......but if u still want to get the magnum get it without the engine and use the same money for e jett ! coz the engine costs like 200$ for a 50$ more u can get a Jett 428 Quikee !! Now that would make the plane gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooooooo !!

PS......... i have ordered that engine...so lets see how it does on my magnum !
