Default Sig Senior ARF question ?

i recently purchased this plane and upon inspection of the wings, i noticed(thru the clear monocote) that 3 or 4 wing spars(or whatever there called) were broken(looked liked maybe someone had stepped on the box during shipping). so i sent it back to tower and they replaced the whole thing , no problem, well i just got my new one and ,although not as bad, a couple of spars in one wing look slightly broke. the wings look fine and feel very sturdy, but it worries me still. what should i do ? do you think it will be ok? any help will be appreciated....thanks[]

SigMan, if you have any doubts, send it back. Although it is a hassle, I would continue to do so untill you have gotten what you have paid for, a good wing. If you are up to it, pull the covering on affected areas and do a repair, although I do not feel that is your responsability. All in all, the replacement or repair will be well worth the effort. The plane is sweet. This model should be illegal as it lands so effortlessly and responds to commands so well. Beautiful craft and well built, very durable. On training night I get to fly three of them, two with Saito .72 4s and one with an OS .46 2s. Good luck on your venture and I know you will enjoy this one. Joe

This seems to be a Sig Mfg trait, I hate to say. I went thru this same bit with a Senior Kadet ARF that I ordered thru my LHS. The original came with a smashed left wing. Week later, replacement wing arrived. Smashed left wing. Week after that, replacement replacement wing arrived. Smashed left wing. Week after that, replacement replacement replacement wing arrived. Guess what? Smashed left wing. Box in all cases but the original ARF was pristine. The LHS and I figured that whoever the Red Bull drinking gorilla in shipping was, he was more than a little rambunchous with the tape gun when he taped up the bubblewrap. Under the tape in all cases was where the wings were damaged.
They finally gave up and sent me an entire new ARF.
If you have spar damage I would NOT use that wing.
I wanted a Sig Wonder kit but for some reason, I am hesitant to order one...
Oh yeah, my father ordered an LT-40... Guess what was broken when it arrived?
Sig ARF's are great planes... If you can get one that the shipping goons didnt River Dance on.
