I have a question that I'm sure has been hammered to death. But I just acquired a DP Ultimate 120 that has a Moki 135. Now I know this engine is ok BUT I would like to know what seems to be the favored combo. I bring this to you all for your knowledge of this great flying machine.
Thanks

YS 1.40 (the Sport not the Dingo) works great in the one I built. Excellent vertical, balances no problem, not much cutting of the cowl and runs inverted without an onboard glow or pump.
It's one of the nicest ARF's I've assembled and it fly's great.

I have an OS 1.60 with a Bisson Pitts style muffler on my DP Ultimate and it is great power. I did have to add a Cline regulator because the I couldn't get enough tank pressure out of the Bisson muffler. I am very happy with this engine. It will do big knife edge loops with no problem.

Some one at our field also said the YS was a good choice. They are a little pricey at 500 dollars but I guess sometimes if you want performance you have to pay for it.

OS 1.60 in mine with a Pitts muffler and Perry pump...APC 18x6W on 10% fuel. I have a blast with this combo. I do also have a YS 140 FZ that also puts out good power. I would say either motor will do you good...use whatever you can afford, and get it in the air.
