Seems to be the same dimensions as the Extreme flight Yak.
Seems like the year of the Yak
(If you didn't get the joke...it's like the chinese calendar, every year is based on some animal...sorry for the poor joke

Hmmm, 87" YAK, 85" Edge, 85" Extra. Add an inch to the rudder. Could be the planes Chris rejected. The factory was sitting on a bunch (couple hundred if I remember right!) Hopefully they are airworthy. And $250 less than EF! naw I'll just wait......

I believe the ones that Chris rejected were 68 inch Yaks!
Thus the wait for the now released ones from Extreme. I do believe the 87 inch Yak is still just a prototype. Scheduled to be available in late August.
I don't think you guys know what you're talking about

I dont believe these to be the EF rejects, maybe another Chinese manufacturer with a new bird I suppose. The price is right but as far as flight reports the jury is still out on that one.
Aileron size looks decent but cant see enough of the tail group to judge. Doesnt appear to be a "3D monster" as others in its size class but who knows until we hear a flight report.

Actually the 68" was to be produced later. The 85" Extra and Edge was coming out 1st with the 87" scheduled a month(or 2) later. I was scheduled to get the 87" Yak the end of aug/beginning of sepr last year. You will notice that I said "could be"! Cant say unless Chris gets one and says "yep those are my rejects"! I'm just saying that no one was coming out with those specific measured planes except EF and now all 3??????

Guys,
These are the planes extreme flight rejected. They have been recovered with a different scheme to try to fool the public. As a matter of fact all these planes have been paid for by Chris and he has not been reimbursed for them, so they all still belong to him. Andrew Kondor of KMP was made aware of this at the toledo show and still chooses to bring them to market. That says alot about his ethics. Extreme Flight rejected these for a reason. When Chris went to China for the final inspection before shipment to the U.S. he went through each of the 800 boxes and the quality was so poor he rejected every one of them. They were not even close to the quality of the prototypes sent by the manufacture earlier that year. Needless to say Chris took a huge hit to his pocket book by rejecting these and suffered through a huge delay bringing the new planes to market with the quality he wanted and that his customers expected. If you want the real deal place your order with EF. These other planes are junk...

RREEL, you must work for the R/CIA! Good info. I admire Chris Hinson's integrity, and his products speak for themselves. I can't wait for the 87" Yaks to arrive!

I think Chris Hinson is great, I emailed about a purchase and to have it shipped from factory to Asia, he himself replies!
Anyways, I saw in Singapore the Pacific Aero planes sold under another brand. Its called Green Model ... it costs only USD200 for the Laser 200 1/4 scale!!! Its finished exactly the same, no difference! See this www.jethobby.com.sg
