Default ARF covering & trim

How difficult is it to change a colour scheme on an ARF covered with Monokote?? Never had an ARF - want one but want to change part of the scheme, I am familiar with my own planes covering but wondered about ARFs. What do they use for trim etc. (Top Flite in particular P51). less time to build these days.

Default RE: ARF covering & trim

Top Flight sells the p-51 uncovered. If you only want to change part of it, you can strip and recover (It will probably pull right off, ARFs are not ironed down very well.) or you can simply paint over the parts you want to change.

If you paint it, make sure the covering is ironed down properly first.
