I have a Graupner Extra 300s .60 size that looks almost exactly like that, the patty wagstaff trim scheme. The graupner was a very easy build 3 days everything is done 4 you u just put the servos in and engine my Graupner has 6 servos and a magnum .80 motot an extra servo is required 4 the elevator each half. all the push rods are already installed beautiful plane.

Does anyone know who manufactures this ARF ?

could be the same as the Graupner, or whoever makes the one Hobby Lobby sells. The manufacturer probably sold it to someone else who sells it but without any brand names attached to it. It is a nice looking ship, does anyone have the weight on this plane?
On the remarks on 3D I do agree that its not capable, the size of the ailerons give that away
Looks like a good Imac plane though [8D]

The instructions are very vague to say the least, but it seems like i well built ARF. It's all laser cut by the looks of the burnt edges on all the parts i can see. If you have ever assembled any other ARF's then this one shouldn't pose any problems. What i originally asked was "who knows who makes this thing?", so if the need arises i can order replacement parts. Now that i think about it , what does your cowl and wheel pants paint look like ? Mine looks like they went straight from the molds to the paint shop as i can see every grain in the glass right through the paint. Other than that the parts seem to be well constructed and covered. As i progress through the assembly i'll post more about it. In the mean time does anyone know who produces this ARF ?

Since they didn't bother slotting for hinges, I went with Du-Bro standard size hinges that have the metal pin crimped on one side. I purchased a 6 and a 15 pack and used 5 on each wing, 4 on each elevator and that only left me with 3 for the rudder, hope thats enough!! I may be thinking giant scale here but only the movable surfaces received a bevel during the manufacturing.
I was planning on using a new OS FSR 90 with a pitts muffler to power this model. With the added weight of the 90 up front and my dislike for using a Y pushrod in the first place i was thinking of using 1 servo for each elevator half and pull pull on the rudder. I have no idea how much torque each servo should have for each surface on this model as its not stated in their sub-standard manual and i haven't the foggiest idea who makes this ARF so info on is sparse to say the least. I have four futaba 9001's not doing anything at the moment and was thinking of using them for ailerons and maybe elevators as the added nose weight might be an issue. I'm wondering that if the 2 standard size 9001's might be on the heavy side what would be a good mini servo to use (again i have no idea how much torque is needed to control the elevators properly) and how much torque is required for a rudder on a 60 size a/c powered by a 90. Any insight on this matter would be appreciated.
Thanks,
John

I also purchased this plane on ebay and asked the seller who the MFR is. Below is the reply I received:
The quality of the plane I received is somewhat lower the other ARF's I've had (e.g. glue job, covering job, overall craftsmanship).
Only paid $160.00 shipped to by door so I cannot-should not complain. Have not finished putting together yet.
How does your fly??????
