The Graupner is a lovely plane, finished very well. The only slight down side is that it is a little on the heavy side. You should be able to loose a little weight by replacing the aluminium undercarriage with a light carbon undercarraige and removing the aluminium control rod guides to the elevator and rudder.
As standard the Extra flys very well and can perform most manouvers. Don't put the CofG too far back otherwise it may be prone to tip stalling, though that is the same for any aircraft of that type.
Hope you get one, they're good fun!

This plane is Neat!!
It flys beutifuly. Nice areobatic plane. Its not as light as a 3d plane.
If you havn`t flown much, a 60 is sufficient, but if you want some more performance, put a 90 2st in it.
Keep the CG on 98mm, and install a 500ml tank. And dont give the elevator more throw than the 8mm specified in the manual, or it will be unpleasent every time you pull full elevator. It aparently stalls the entire stabilzer, and it snaps
Here are some pics of mine..... Ive actualy owned 2, and this is my first one with a magnum GP 65......a little tame, but it flew nice.
This one crashed du to pilot error [8D]

One importent note, is the tail. Aparently there have been alot of horizontal stabilzers that have broken off in flight. Graupner have included a little bag with tail braces, that are a MUST to install. Also, when you have to emove the covering in the tail to glue it onto the fuselage. Dont use a knife to remove it. Use a soldering iron, and melt the covering away, so you dont cut into the balsa.
