Hello, Have any of you had experience with the throws on the Cap 232? I am ready to fly mine but elevator looks like it is not enough when set to the manual spec's. I put this together last fall and am now ready to give it a try. Spec's say 3/8" up and down on elevator and ailerons. Does this sound about right? What a beautiful plane this is. Ordered it last year in January and was told there was a 2 month wait. Went to the Toledo Show and saw one. I thought it looked great but also thought that they would have the very best one at the show, I felt that if mine looked half as good I would be very happy. I'm proud to say mine arrived the next week and was even better than the one at the show. The one at the show had been handled a lot by many admirers. TIA, Dan.

The elevators and rudder on all Caps are extremely effective. With the CG set in the described range in the instructions the throws are more than enough. Be very careful with the elevator on this plane especially when landing. Get overly anxious and add to much elevator and it will snap the plane into the ground. Keep the plane light and be smart with the elevator otherwise the Cap 232 flies like it is on rails and performs 3D well when setup correctly.
