I have a friend that has one - and thinks it is just great! According to him it lands like a trainer, but can do anything else that you would want a plane to do. Good choice!

Default Weight / Motor?

Clothor - Did your friend say how much his WM Extra ended up weighing? Do you know what motor was used?

Default WM extra 300s 80" arf

I have just finished mine yesterday. I am using ZDZ40 gas engine in it and it weighs 15.5 lbs. I can understand the reason of extra 1.5 lbs weight which is because of little heavier engine (than os fx 1.60), muffler, ignition module, and extra battery pack.
Hopefully I will fly it this week and let you guys know the out come of the test flight.
Looks very sharp though. WM makes good models and I guess there is always some work is involved in putting any arf plane together - personal experience.

Got a Moki 1.80 for mine with Mejlick 19x8 prop. Should produce plenty of power and keep the weight down.

Ide like to know how it flys on the mokie 180 Im getting a 210 for my GP 1/4 extra when they are released. That with a Mejzlik prob should produce loads of power. The weight of the two planes should be similar
