Just for the record...and I am not supporting Troybuilt or suggesting you buy from them but....I got my DP 330 gear the other day and there is no way you could break this gear. You would destroy the plane before this gear failed.
They obviously made some changes to the gear.

I still say that folks having any concern should call GraphTec. they were quick to answer questions, made me a custom gear without charging me extra, etc.
They are ez to deal with, and I'll be going back to them again this week to buy more.

I got my DP Extra gear from TroyBuilt a long time ago. As I said in an earler post, these gear have been awesome. Maybe I got lucky. From what I read about their service, I'd say I DID get lucky. And when I bought, I did not deal with them directly. I got the gear through my LHS
However, when I ordered CF gear for another quarter scale Extra last week, I ordered directly from GraphTech . I ordered through the website and got a personal order confirmation a few hours later. I should get the gear today or tomorrow. I'm looking forward to getting them.
