I followed the manual and set CG at 4" from LE, now I'm ready for a little more snap and I'm wondering what others have for CG on this model and what their results are. How has the change affected elevator authority? This is the ARF.

From where you are move the CG back 1/8 to 1/4 inch at a time until it comes alive. Remember a little goes along way. Also keep your speed up on landing till you know what it is going to do. If its going to snap it will if you slow it down to much.

I can always make gradual CG changes toward aft, but I was hoping a couple of ya' with the same ARF might have found your favorite spec, and I might save some repetitive relocation of electronics by carefully going with someone elses results.

Well, it depends on what you mean by snap... The plane will do any maneuver on the factory specs including beautiful snaps on no more than 1/4" aft. Mine flies with a Saito .91 and a 14 x 6 prop up front and the engine change along with 30% more throws made more difference in the performance than when I moved the CG. For more action I built a Sig SE with a Saito .72 to hover and out perform the extra-300 for 3D. Are you wanting to hover and such or just get the feel to the point of snapping with just full elevator?
By the way mine is a kit and runns 20% expo on the elevator and 35% on the ailerons.
