Default Twist 3D

I am new to r/c planes and I just wanted some advice. I am going to buy the Hangar 9 Twist 3D. I wanted to know if it came with a engine and if it didn't could somebody tell me a good engine I could put on it. I am also going to get a JR XF421EX Aircraft Radio System. Will this work with the Twist? And is this ll I would need to go out to the field and fly or is there something else? Thanks.

freakyfrog, you need to go down to the local hobby shop and ask directions to a public flying field. There will be folks there willing to answer your questions and give advice. There is much to know about getting started, and that would be a good first step. The Twist does not come with an engine.

Freaky, If you have never flown RC before, a Twist isn't a good choice for 1st plane. You need to get a high wing trainer. Look up your local RC club, join and get an instructor.

i'd go with a high wing trainer first, i have a dura-plane trainer 40, it's a good plane to learn on.
as the name say's dura-plane they're right i'ev crash it inverted, hard landing, had the elevator reversed on the radio, caused me to nose dive it after take off.go with a trainer plane and go to a local r/c field they will be more than glad to help, thats how i done it.
