Dazzler with .70 4 Stroke!

I have had my Dazzler for a year or so & I've been flying it with a
Magnum .46. I finally broke down & bought an OS .70 4 stroke.
TOO MUCH FUN! It will be difficult to buy a 2 cycle after this.
I have flown my buddies 4 stroke planes before, but I am
now addicted.

Wow...you definately got power to spare. I stepped up from a OS .46 LA with a tuned pipe to a Saito 82A. Its like night and day! Ofcourse I stepped up from a 40 sized Mach II to a Stinger 60 but the power is still at your fingertips. Im just like you now...4-stroke is the way to go! Enjoy your hot rod Dazzler...

I don't own a Dazzler, but I do have an OS 70II. It is mounted on a Phoenix Giles 40 size. This plane is fast, AND it has vertical to spare. I'm using an APC 13x6. You should have ALL the power you will ever need for that plane with the 70.
Four strokes are sweet. Some folks don't like em, but I for one LOVE em! Good luck with your Dazzler, and have FUN!

The only prop I had was a 12x5. It sure ran great after 3 tanks.
Should I try another prop? What do you think about a 3 blade?
Is it 1" less in pitch, for each additional blade, or is it 1" less
in pitch & diameter for each additional blade? Thanks guys!
aero, I love your signature! Too funny!

I think you would like the APC 13x6. That's what some owners of this engine recommend (me included). It will pull like a tractor, and should give you pretty good top end too. Try it and see. I bet that Dazzler will jump right off the ground with that combo. Vertical should be near if not unlimited. GREAT FUN!
