Thought i had a pic of the ARC model on floats ...anyway the Cub, if i remember had the same floats on..
...one thing though... the floats weigh 22 oz between the pair of them ..add this to a allready quite heavy model...we saw one Cardinal fold its wings this day.....creased the plastic skin...[:@]

So Lord i think i'm understanding you right, those floats are falcon style on the cub?...I own a cub and was going to install great planes floats but i didn't like the mounting braket it looks chincy..So i ventured out in search of a better set and found the falcon site. being my first float plane i think that the plastic model will hold up better incase of a mishap or two. and may be a bit more easier to handle than a cub, i have all i can do to fly the cub off grass never mind a pond. LOL.. thks Bill

Quit looking & get one!---No wood to get water/soaked, no covering to get torn---& they fly great off the snow also!---just be sure to use a 91FS engine---

I agree with tande plus the Cessna looks terrific! I disagree on the engine though. Mine flew very fast and had great vertical with an OS 61 FX turning a 12x6.
I have also heard of a couple of wings folding. In every case, the builder had tryed to sand the mold lines off the leading edge of the wing. Doing that weakens the leading edge and a very hard pull on the elevator can cause it to split. The solution is to simply ignore the mold lines on the leading edge of the wings and tail surfaces. They are hardly noticeable and they don't mess up the airflow over the wings.
