Hi All,
We are always quick to jump on a manufacturer for delivering products and services that do not meet our expectations, however, here's a very positive experience that I thought I would share.
I purchased a NIB SIG 4*60 ARF from my LHS. I was quite pleased with the quality of the packing and kit contents. The only problem I found was that the ailerons were warped so badly that they were not usable. I realized that contacting the LHS would not really solve the problem as they would only contact SIG and wait for an answer as I would. Then I thought that I should just buy some balsa stock and fabricate new ones myself, but hey, this is an ARF and I want to get into the air ASAP. So, I decided to give SIG a call myself.
Well, I was immediately told not to worry about it - "we will take care of it". Since the ailerons only come in a complete wing set from the factory, I offered to just take the uncovered ailerons from their kit version. The gentleman on the phone just replied, "don't worry about it, I'll take care of it". Well, three days later, a complete wing set arrived at my door - with all contents in perfect condition! I bought the ARF on a Friday, called SIG on Monday and received the new replacement parts on Thursday. That is phenomenal customer service. Thanks - SIG
