Default 4 * 60 throttle link

The link that comes with the 4 * 60 for the throttle is very weak and bends when the servo tries to move the throttle of my TS91 . So basicly what i need is another medium for connecting the throttle servo with the throttle, that wont bend... Any ideas?

I used the original link (wire and tube) which came with the KIT. I guess the ends of the link need to be attached to the fuse for it to work properly. I have a Saito 100 inverted in mine and absolutely no problems with the link.

When I say the ends of the link I mean the tube.

I used a throttle cable instead of a pushrod set-up. The cable has worked so far as it is sturdy enough. I also used E-Z connectors both on the servo and the throttle control horn. I wanted to use the E-Z connectors on both ends, but the pushrod I had was too small in diameter, thus I wasn't able to tighten down the screws on the connectors. Using a thicker, threaded type cable allowed me to do so. Probably an unconventional way, but the cable is sturdy enough, and after several flights it has worked fine. I have an os 90 fx on my 4 star 60.

Ok, im glad the original link (wire and tube) which came with the KIT worked for you, however, not for me. So i need another way to do this.

You need to solder and file the ends of the cables. Was that already done in the arf, or any instructions on that in the manual ?

Although my instructions dont have that page with the pictures, that is exactly what i did, even some sort of "support block" which wasnt in my instructions...

It works fine when the engine is cool, but once it gets hot it gets a little stuck and its too much for the link... I need something stronger...

Now that i look at it closer, that is not the link that came with mine. Its ALL bendable, not a bit of nylon tubing. Unlike that one in that picture which has nylon tubing:
+-=====---========---+

Mine is like this:

+------------------------------+

There should be some tubing that it was supposed to go into. It doesn't come installed in the tubing. You install the tubing, then the flexible cable after soldering ends to stiffen, then attach connectors and connect to servos. It will not work without that tubing to keep it stiff.
That's waht the leftover piece of tubing is for!
