What can you do to an ARF 4*60

For a quick, easy mod guaranteed to make a difference, flying it into the ground at full throttle from a great height usually does the trick.

You sure beat me to the punch. I was thinking the same thing until I open the thread and saw your answer. Here is a pic of my 4*60. If it is already assembled, you can add striping and home made decals if you want to change the look of it.
BTW: The pilot is a modified Super Mario bobblehead statue. Added some weight, but it sure is a hit with the kids who come to our fun fly's.

It is fairly easy to enclose the nose with a nice smooth built-up balsa cowling. Gets rid of the ugly open cheeks. Other than that -- leave it alone

I agree with Cruzo.. These things are great flyers. I have about 7 flights on mine so still getting to used to it as I haven't flown for a few years. Gotta love the landings though. Very easy... she just floats on in. Everything you hear about being a great, forgiving low wing plane is true.

Flew my Dad's a bunch, and he was bored and built me one from a kit, so mine has red and red transparent covering.
Running a Magnum 91FS.
Only change I made off stock config is to use flaperon setup on my Polk radio.
I link flaps to elevator for normal flying with 100% opposite throw to the flaps when elevator is moved.
On landing my landing mode switch commands 100% up aileron on both sides as spoilers.
Drops real smooth toward the deck with no speed gain, regardless of wind. If you are going to be short,
pulling up elevator raises the nose a bit and drops off some of the spoiler and you can extend the glide as
long as needed.
I use the same flaperon config on 2 kit bashed sticks as well and love the whole flap coupling thing.
Swithcing everything over to a Hitec Optic 6 soon, as the mixes are far cooler than the polk for less money

Some people shorten the wing span to make it a bit sportier. They cut off the end spar and the end wing bay to the next spar on each side, and put the end-spar on the next spar for strength.
