Hi All,
I'm looking at purchasing the newer VMAR Extra 330L
, and was wondering on peoples thoughts on it. Things like engine reccomendations, quality of plane, and just the general about the aircraft.
Also, how are people towards smoke systems[8D] like the one shown at the following website: http://www.precisionaerobatics.com/a...ry.aspx?gid=59
Ta for any help!

i have a v mar extra 330 and have had about 15 flights so far, everything goes great and it flies great truly would reccommend one to anyone with a little experience. although it flies great it is adviseable to place a 4 cm long piece of fuel tubing on after the wing retaining bolts as they can come off due to vibration happy lansings

Flying Spud,
You responded to a post from 2004. Back in those days, if anyone mentioned Vmar, several people who had never owned a Vmar plane would immediately respond they were no good.
I still have the earlier 330L, a plain red & white trim version. Flew very well, I probably put a thousand flights on it before retiring it. The covering is all faded, and the elevator hinges have come loose (retired it when I noticed) and I won't fix it because the (ahem) repair I did on an earlier crash was pretty poor. It flew well even after that repair.
Enjoy your Extra!
