Does anyone build an Almost Ready to Cover P-51 kit? My grandfather was a crew chief on P-51's in the 4th fighter group WWII
and he and I are planning on making a close to scale replica of his plane. I won't have enough time to build the whole kit this winter, so I am solely interested in an ARC plane.

Below is the World Models .40 size P-51. I bought this as an ARC. You do not save much money but the door is open on covering. It is a very good sport scale. The scoop is a bit off but easily transformable. it is a good plane. If you want to keep the nose area intact. Throw a 100ish fourstroke inverted to solve that. I have a ST 90 sideways on this.

Hey Cyclic,
Do you have the web address for world models? I can't seem to get it right. And did you have to call them and order it un-covered specialy?

or....www.airborne-models.com
Wouldn't it be easier to just get a Great Planes, or World Models P-51 covered in basic silver military style....and just change the trims to match-up with "Pops" squadren markings ?
