Mine is almost ready to fly. Would have loved to got it up today but found a small problem with one of the servo mounts on the wing.
This could have been caused by me but it looks like there was not much glue put on the joints on the ribs so I reglued it which was fun
because there was not much accss to the supports. The quality of the hardware is ok as each person has a idea of what great hardware is.
I used all of the standard hardware expect for the aileron rods and elvator rods instead I like using kevlar/composite rods and titanuim ends
It works out really well and helps eliminate any slop caused by control rods. The thread in the 3d flying group is really informative and helpful
in building this airplane. Mine went together without to many problems and such. The first batch did not have the instructions included with it but
they ended up putting them online for us to use. One gentelman had a warped wing but they sent him another when he shipped it back to them.
Mine came out around 7 lbs with a saito 100 installed and it should fly nicely. Hopefully I will get it up tommorrow as long as the weather holds
out here.
