Default BME Pitts Challenger

Hi Guys

Just received my new project the Pitts Challenger from BME Aircraft. Wow what an aircraft.
Quality is superb.

I have been reading through a few threads relating to this aircraft and no one seems to have flown one yet. If anybody has, I would be grateful to hear if they had any problems in construction or flying and what was their set-up. I think I would probably go for a DA 50 as I just love the looks of this engine. Main interest would be free-style with some 3D.
I wonder if this engine would be big enough. Any thoughts would be grateful as I intend to start building after Christmas.

Many thanks

Johnny

Hi Wildman

Thanks for the information. I guess you probably can't go wrong with the DA. Do you know what exhaust system your friend used as I do not want to strangle all that lovely power the DA produces with a NAF system. Also does the DA provide enough power to hover on half throttle.
Many thanks

Jonny

A fellow at our field has one with a 3W 60. I saw the maiden and it looked great, but nothing radical was performed. He's on RCU and goes by Migflyer. Good luck!
