A friend of mine has one of these. A real handsome looking model but the beauty,
like many of the ARF's is only skin deep . The glass fuselage is very well done. The
wing , well, it leaves a lot to be desired. IMO ,not structurally sound for a .60 powered plane.
The nose wheel assembly is very weak as well and needs help especially if you flying
off grass.

If you can pick it up for a real cheap price and then take it easy with it , well, you make
the call.

I wouldn't put my equipment into one at any price. Personally I'd pass on it.

Good luck

I have one powered by a Saito .91 and it flies great. The only beef I've had with the plane is the nose gear, it's pretty weak and will bend easily, but show me a stock strut that won't. Anyway, mine flies great and I've yet to have a problem with the wing.

You need to a search of the threads for the GP Lancair.

Last year we had a very active and informative group.

I had the people at www.tntlandinggear.com make up a one piece landing gear.

The people a www.sierraprecision.com make a really nice scale oleo nose gear too.

This a awesome plane, that need a some minor modifications, like glassing the center section of the wing.

Again, do a search and you'll learn all the really cool tips for this plane.
