I have almost 2Gal through it and although it still very rich it keeps getting hot. I am at 4 turns on the needles. do you hve any advise on this engine. it is on a H9 taylorcraft and I do not have the cawl installed yet.

Saito Problem
I bet you have a leak somewhere in your system. Check the fuel tubing and then the tank to see if they're cracked or split somewhere. Better yet just replace the fuel lines and if it straightens out the motor then you know where your problem was!
