Hey, was wondering if anyone out in ARF land just may have a pattern trace of the firewall for the hanger 9 taylorcraft!
I recently acquired the plane after another !QUOT!gentleman!QUOT! had it way over powered and rip the engine and fire wall to shreds on a take off torque roll. The basic fuse is still in decent shape and the wing only has minor damage to the tips. I already have the new cowl, windows, windshield, cabanas, and landing gear. I know I could make this firewall, it will take me forever so I thought maybe someone out here in R/C land may have already done it....
Thanks.

Loved my taylorcraft, but all good things come to an end I guess.
Big crash this weekend, so it was easy for me to take some pictures for you. I also traced the firewall and scanned in image.
Hope this helps, Bob...

Just noticed the trace was just an image. For you to have the accurate dimensions you will need the actual file. PM me your email address and I will send you the file as an attachment.
Here's a couple of more pics.

It's a slimline showtime. I use super-dri smoke oil. I'm running a FPE 2.4 dumping the smoke oil right at the exhaust exit (no preheat). I am going to experiment with preheat on my next setup just to make the oil go further not more dense. I could'nt ask for any better smoke, it's just that I only get approx. 3 minutes with a 16oz tank. That may be the norm, I don't know since this is my first smoke setup.
Thx, Bob...
