hey guys,
i've got an old tired 2 stroke .40 2 stroke on it right now, i know the saito .56 is supposed to be an awesome choice, and i would do that except i just spent money on a .91 for an extra300 for later in the year.
how is that magnum?
any engines people personally have used to fit on the four star easy?
any other cheap fourstroke engines that would fit the four star?

My Feedback: (51)
I have a 52 Magnum 4 stroke that runs like a top, and I have never had a single dead stick with it. The one I have is very dependable with a super idle, and a great Transition. 10350RPM with a 12X5 APC, and super cool to the touch after a good long run. I run 15% Cool Power fuel in it, and the fuel consumption is very low. Easy 15 minute Flights with a 12oz tank. I gave $149 for mine early last year, but I think I seen them on sale rescently at Hobby People for around $120. My larger 4 strokes are Saitos, but I have no complaints with the smaller 4 stroke magnum. It has alot mellower sound than the Saito, but the 52 Magnum still generates a good amount of Power for its size. I run mine in a Great Planes extra 300s .40 which will handle a much bigger Power Plant than what I have in it, up to a .91 4stroke, but the 52 Mag 4stroke would be sweet on a Sig 4star .40.
