Has anyone had any experience making changes to a trainer, I know many have changed the Sig Kadet Sr into a tail dragger.........but what about others?? I was thinkin of the Hobbstar 60 size, because of the semisymetrical wings, into a tail dragger.......maybe taking some of the dihedrial out of the wings and maybe adding a cowl....any thoughts??thanks wc

I got a Tower Trainer 40 that i have conerted to a tail dragger and recovered. I have several other planes but i would really like to get a tower trainer kit to bash, add flaps, larger ailerons, no dihedral and so on. Trainers are such well built planes you could do just about anything you could think of. here are some pics as a tail dragger and after i recovered it, i changed it back to trike to teach my wife to fly. she loves it.
