Hi - I'm new here.
I did a search and read a bunch about this plane, but just wanted any up to date thoughts on it.
I'd like to get one and use the YS140 I have for power.
How do you guys like your T-Crafts?
The other plane I was thinking of was the GP Ryan STA.
Thanks,
Jeff

I am also putting in a ys 140 should fly it well i think the quality is ok on this plane even though its a hangar nine have not found any quality issues yet will fly mine next week i used Hitec 625s all the way through on mine with 2 on elevator hooked in to a y reserver. Will probalbly have to add a lot of weight up front for balance since i put rudder servo in rear fuse , but for me it is a easy hookup . Good luck

I have a H9-t-craft that I am getting ready to fly.A fellow club member has one and it looks and flies real "super "nice. However ,He did say the OS160 ,thaqt he used was too much power.I am going to start off with a Saito 150,then I will go to the Saito 180,then maybe Iwill put my Moki 1.8 in it qas the Moki needs a lot of time on the eng.I believe that the T-craft can be used to "run in" a variety of glow or gas eng.I also believe it is a great arf to "retrain " one's self(me) for various types of models and modes of flying.I read alot of good stuff about the bird in the forums on RcReport.com.--flyboy-

I've been flyin my T-craft all summer now and I don't have any negatives to mention. In my humble opinion (been buildin models for 40 yrs give or take a couple) it's built very well and flies extremely nice and very predictable. I powered mine with a G-23 which is a pretty good match. All servos in the cabin area and no lead added. The only modification I made was a size larger wheel cause of the grass I fly from and a good spring tailwheel assymbly.

I think the plane is well built and the G-23 will be more than enough power since it is a "scale" plane. I will have a smoke pump and inverted pitts smoke muffler also. Couple weeks yet till its finished.

Hey there!
My Dad and I have one with a Saito182 twin.ITs awesome! Instead of adding nose weight he extended the firewall out a little.Servos are in the cabin area,he put two servos on the elevators one for each instead of the single pushrod..I think we have an 16x8apc.It has nice virticle not unlimited but the full scale plane really never flew like that anyway..

Xtra flyer,I appreciate the commemnts. As I said in a previous response,I will start of with my Saito 150fs,as I need to put some time on it.Then I have two Saito 180 GKs that I will use (one at a time of course).I got the T-craft,in order to have to "run in " the Saitos and my Moki 1.8.I have a DEhavilland Mosquitoe kit, with a 109 in.wingspan that the Saitos will go in.I, too extended the eng.rather than add nose weight.I used one 100in ounce servo and installed the elevator pushrod as per instruction manual, but using two servos on the elevator is a very good idea.On my other planes, most have a servo for each elevator. My other arf is a kankge laser 2000 which,I will start.THanks again to all for the responses, Bob R
